Rock Creek Farms

So we hyped up Sunflower farms all weekend to Lucas...we kept telling him we were going to pick pumpkins on sunday and when we got there, there was no picking! LOL So we decided to go to Rock Creek Farms in Lafayette (maybe Broomfield, I'm not sure which city exactly), which is where we've gone the past 2 years for pumpkin picking! It was soooo packed this weekend, there were cops directing traffic! We must've waited in line in the car for about an hour! But it was worth the wait. You drive in, they give you shears and off you go! Drive your car into the pumpkin fields and pick your pumpkins off the vine! Lucas had so much fun! He kept saying "want this pump-in mama", "cut this pump-in Mama."Mama and Avery taking a break from picking pumpkins

*Moral of the story* IF IT AIN'T BROKE, DON'T FIX IT!

Next year, we will happily return to Rock Creek Farms to pick pumpkins ON A WEEKDAY!
