Rock the Vote

Lucas loves going to the Children's Museum. I took the kids a few weeks ago and in the spirit of election year, they had their own little election going on. It was the chicken vs the rabbit, they set up a little table outside this voting booth with ballots and a ballot box! Lucas knew exactly what to do! He grabbed a ballot and ran inside the voting booth, where there was a stool and a cup of crayons to cast your vote. He must've thought really hard about who he wanted to vote for because he was in there a very long time! Thinking about who he wanted to vote for....

They didn't have the "i voted" sticker, so i told him to go stand inside the booth to take a picture!

A Taste of Colorado 2008

Every year since we've lived in Colorado, Eric and I always go downtown to the Taste of Colorado. A lot of restaurants come out to set up booths and sell a little taste of what their restaurants have to offer and local vendors try and sell their "goods." We always have a good time eating our day away!! Lucas ate sooo much, but since when is that a surprise, right?!

Avery's 1st Haircut

After almost 10 months, we decided that Avery needed a hair cut (maybe more like a trim!). It wasn't as traumatizing as it is for Lucas. We take the kids to Cool Cuts 4 Kids and Avery sat in a yellow car while she got her hair cut.

Union Station

We had dinner at Rodizio's Grill downtown on Saturday night (the restaurant is right below the big ICEHOUSE sign). We ate sooo much, we decided to walk over to Union Station and check it out!

Sushi Den

Sushi Den has to be one of the best sushi bars in Denver! Everytime my sister comes to visit, our first stop is always Sushi Den. This year we had Sara, Matix, and London join us for a wonderful lunch!
